"Hey Tiffany, it's your future husband...
Just writing to see how you are. I
was hoping if, you still use this e-mail account, we could talk about our
wedding or I'd prefer maybe just going to get dinner..
Okay, so I paraphrased it slightly. Sue me. :-)"

Tiffany's response:
"Huh? Do I know you? I assume I do..."

"Hi.
Nope, you don't know me at all! Follow along though, and you'll see how I got
to you:
Strangely enough, I was surfing the web for a '50s-era kitchen table for my
house. Somehow, that led me to a write-up of a '50s-style club in Lincoln,
Nebraska. That club was reviewed on Dan Renzi's website. While glancing at
what else was on Dan's website, I found this comment from you:
[Editor's note: I was quoting something from one of Dan Renzi's posts here:
"'Hey Dan, it's your future husband...'Just calling to see how you are. I was
hoping if, you're still in town, we could talk about our wedding or I'd
prefer maybe just going to get dinner..'
Tiffany said: I think that's the best line I've ever heard. Think a straight guy would ever
use it on me? (;"
Alex said: So... being a straight guy (and being prone to occasional bouts of impulsive
e-mailing) I decided to e-mail you and use that line!
Kind of a long way to go for a practical joke on someone I don't know, eh? ;-)
Okay, now that we're here... when should we set the wedding date for? :-)"
