Red knit caps: Cute or Blah?

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen are so lucky-- they can share all of their clothes. They even share the same hats. I surprisingly like Mary-Kate's outfit in the middle. The dress is too old for her, so I like how she played it down with her cap and bohemian jewelry. Ashlee Simpson's cap looks like it was hand-knitted. She's been photographed wearing hats and another black cap in the last couple of weeks. It's not that cold in London right now. Are these girls wearing caps and hats to keep themselves warm or so they don't have to style their hair?
