Honestly, I have no idea if Scarlett or Heidi were eating ice cream. They could very well have been licking Italian ices or sorbet like Nicole. I'm sure that Nicole breaks out in a sweat over the thought of eating full-fat ice cream. My favorite sorbets are by Haagan Daaz and Ciao Bella. I also like the Italian ices from Di Dio’s in Santa Monica, but ice mixed with fruit and sugar can only go so far. Texturally, I prefer gelato over ice cream. Angelato in Santa Monica is good and Il Cono Gelateria in Beverly Hills is my favorite-- it’s also a good place for star sightings. What’s your favorite brand and flavor of ice cream, gelato or sorbet?
