I find it strange that he doesn't have parents, relatives or friends who could wire him money. DK fell for this scam once on the Third Street Promenade. There's an English girl there who tells people that she needs money to stay at a youth hostel because she lost all of her money. It tuns out that she's always on the promenade in nice clothes selling her same story day after day. Hopefully, Carmen didn't fall for the same scam. Maybe the photo was set up to show that she gives to charities when she's not selling diet pills and posing at events.
