I generally loathe leggings, but a girl on my flight from LA to London changed my mind about them. She was a very petite girl and was wearing her leggings with a slouchy long tank and black flats that tied at the ankle with black ribbons. I realized that leggings can work on short skinny girls. If you're naturally thin, leggings give your legs some nice shape, but the opposite is true if you have muscular or fat legs. Usually I think Kate Bosworth looks emaciated, but in this picture taken in Rome she looks slender and pretty in a nude caftan.
