Fergie too Drunk to Fly
Part of: Gossip , HollywoodClick Photos to Enlarge
The whole point of flying first class is to drink as much as possible. Don't you think it's a little harsh for an airline to turn away Fergie for being too drunk to fly?
An onlooker tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "She was falling all over the place and had to be supported. She was in no state to fly..."But when she was prevented from boarding she couldn't believe it. She was drunkenly ranting at staff but could barely string a sentence together. It was very embarrassing."
Virgin Atlantic on the subject: "We can confirm a female passenger was denied from boarding as she appeared intoxicated and was therefore unsuitable for travel." At least Fergie was able to get her luggage back. Virgin delayed the flight for an hour so they could get it. Poor Fergie, I'm sure she didn't take a long enough vacation in Mexico last week and was rebelling against going back to work.

NO, I do NOT think it was too harsh for a airline to turn her away. Despite the fact that it's agianst FAA regulations in the US to fly drunk, it's also super dangerous. When your in the air the effects of the alcohol is twice as strong as on the ground. People have died of Alchol poisioning from that very thing.
